ABOUT ME

All about us! We just graduated from college and now we want to travel, see the world and meet a lot of people. We met during parties in the sportsbar at the university and have been more than happily together for 2.5 years now.
We just graduated as sports, exercise, fitness and physical education professionals. Before starting a career we wanted to go to Australie, travel by campervan and enjoy the country, the people and the sea! This dream came true and off we are!

Both Silke and Anthony are easy-going people with a mind set to 'chill-mode'. Nevertheless we can be very serious people when it comes to responsiblities and hard work. We hope to work now and then to finance our trip. As in our life moto: WORK TO LIVE, DON'T LIVE TO WORK!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We first heard about CS through a friend who was thrilled about it. Because of our interest in meeting different people, CS seemed a great way to realise this. We never hosted before but if it pleases us, we will absolutely prepare a couch in our home!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None, yet! We hope to be able to 'crash' at some friendly peoples houses along the way. Afterwards, when we get back home, our couch will be available for anyone who wishes to visit 'pretty Belgium' :-)

兴趣

Sports (surfing, snowboarding, moutainbiking, dancing, ...),traveling, seeing the world.
We both LOVE good food! Anthony really enjoys cooking and tries all kinds of dishes, mostly own creations.

Anthony loves a great detective/police book with an unexpected twist. As for music, Anthony listens to Jack Johnson, Mumford and Sons, The Black Keys, Bob Marley, Daft punk, .......................................

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Silke went on a world-trip twice with her parents, sister and little brother when she was about 8-12 years old. Iran, Pakistan, Syrie, Egypt, India, Nepal, The Maledives,...

Anthony never went around the world (yet) but did some stuff he's proud of and won't ever forget. He got a gliderpilot license and parachutejump license whitch illustrates his passion for the sky! One of the most exiting events was a tour in the Italian Dolomites on his snowboard where he downhilled one of the most wild and spectacular slopes (powder!) of Italy!
