About Me
ABOUT ME
I like to think of myself as a sociable, easy going 24 year-old that likes to enjoy life as it comes and grabs opportunities when they occurre. I'm passionate about travelling and then I mean the whole package: seeing new places, enjoying the nature, meeting new people and learning from their way of living and their perspectives, learning about the history and culture of different countries, etc.
PHILOSOPHY
Live your life as it comes and try to enjoy every single minute of it. I know it sounds pretty cheesy and most of the time it's not possible but you can at least try to look for the bright side of things.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think couchsurfing is an amazing tool for people to get opportunities to experience the real travelling. You get so much more then just a place to sleep. People share their homes, their lives with other travellers. There are so many amazing people over there and I would love to meet as much of them as possible. I love to hear their stories, learn something from their experiences and in the meanwhile teach them something about my experiences.
Interests
I can not say I'm particullarly interested in one subject. I like to learn more about every possible thing. I love to listen to people talking about something that they're really passionate about, could be art, history, politics, food, cars, whatever.

Music, Movies, and Books
I can appreciate all kind of genres. From hip hop to reggae, from classic to salsa, etc. It just depends on the day or mood. I also like to listen to italian and mexican music.
I love to read, mostely french or italian books.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I think that would be doing an internship with Aiesec in Mexico. It was my first far trip I did and it was absolutely amazing. I lived in a host family for two months and worked as a volunteer teaching French. That trip really changed me. I learned a lot from the people over there, from their experiences, their way of living, their culture. It made me realize that that is what I really want to continue doing, at least for a few years. There are no books that can teach you the things you can learn by travelling and meeting new people.
Teach, Learn, Share
The most important thing I could share is my passion for languages. I speak Dutch, French, English, Italian, Spanish and I'm learning German again. I'd love to learn other languages as well. And something I've always wanted to learn is to play the guitar.
