About Me

I'm 21 years old, and currently studying Business and Economics at the Pontifical Catholic University of Sao Paulo. I'm graduating in December of 2016 and can not wait.
I grew up in a farm in the state of Sao Paulo with a twin, a dog named "Duke, sabe tudo" (Duke, knows everything), a blue bike and lots of nature. My parents have always taught me that simple is the greatest thing something could be, and I try to live my life following that perspective.
My first big traveling experience happened when I was 18. I went to the USA and it was a lot of fun exploring big cities like NYC and Boston on my own, with my life on my shoulders (backpack), talking to people, encountering new places, and walking a lot - my own adventures! But I love the small adventures, too. For instance, when I go to somewhere near, like Rio, or the beach... There is a Portuguese poet who says that everything (every experience) is worthy if your soul is big, and I pretty much agree.
Nowadays I've got two great dogs, my bike is red and its name is Fidel.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couch surfing because I thought the website could offer me a chance to add valuable experiences to my trip. I love meeting new people and hearing from them.
I'm getting ready to leave my parent's house in August, then I'll be able to host surfers, which I believe will afford me nice experiences, as well.

Interests

I am very enthusiastic about practicing sports, being in contact with nature, reading and writing. My favorite sports are kayaking, hiking and biking. I also love practicing yoga, meditation and its benefits.

I find geopolitics, languages and cultures extremely interesting. I'm taking a class about the geopolitics in the middle east and another one on economical history of latin america and it is so interesting it doesn't even look like college.
