I’m mindful about who I spend time with and who I invite into my home. I would like to share quality time with Couchsurfers and keep in touch afterwards.

Before sending a request, please note:

​Confirmed Dates Only: Please send an official request only after you have booked your TICKETS to Jeju and your dates are FIXED.

​Timing: I prefer short notice requests (within 1–2 weeks). Up to 3 weeks in advance is acceptable, but not preferred.

​Essential Details: Please include your arrival time and what you would like to share (skills, activities, or unique ideas).

Pls read above accepting guests section throughly. I get so many requests that I can’t respond them to everyone. I am always down for a deep talk over tea instead of a text.

The house rules:
Arrival time: around 6 p.m.
Departure time: around 9 a.m.

Hosting preferences:
To keep hosting sustainable and comfortable for me.
​No Couples: I generally do not host couples.
​No Hallasan Hikers: my place is in the opposite direction of the hiking trails to TOP making it inconvenient for hikers and me.
​Stay Duration: 1-night stays are considered, but I prefer longer stays for better connection.

I am looking for specific couchsufers:
Those who are willing to cook then talk over food with me. Add your existence and create cozy vibe in my kitchen. Bring your coffee,tea,snacks and spices. I also love to invite others with you so that we socialize with new people. You are very welcome to create projects making short movies, busking whatever. Just be an artist with me. Let's broaden vision.

All above is called Relational Athetics by Rirkrit Tiravanija. It's a part of contemporary art. You stay with stranger's home on CouchSurfing exchanging and creating something is definitely the art. We have an important word in Korea 식구 which means to eat together under the same roof. It means a family. Once you stay with me cooking eating together means you become a part of my family for a couple of days. Contributing yourself in the corner of the World feeling connected, welcomed, appreciated rather than being drift as a solo traveler. Be an artist with me.

My present self:
I worked at independendent bookstore for 2years. Now I focus on writing my travel essay, plus looking for a stable job. I am into rebuilding new life in my hometown with communites. I used to travel massively but I am more settled with my wild sprit hidden.
I am into financial sustainability which will lead to travel on the regular basis hopefully before I turn grandma . Haha

My past self:
I traveld around the world for 7 years in a row from Cambodia to the west till U.K and Norway. It was slow as I crossed borders by overland, plus it was more like another way of living itself rather than traveling.
The experience changed whole my life.

Interests:
I like to meet especially who has own experiences for work, life and alternative communities with their perspectives.
My interests are broad. Specifically arts, books and culture. Plus how to be connected with people like minded who is building their own lives with rich experiences. Travel runs in my blood.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

People I have met on the road fills me with stories,inspiration,laughters. I am more than eager to take a part in the world invoving there.

Couchsurfing is wonderful to connect myself to people where I travell in sharing life, refereshing and influncing each other.
Surely it would be best to end with laughing together and hugging with heart from strangers in the beginning.

In Pennang in June
I had my first couchsurfing with a couple that was wonderful.
The hospitality and sharing life experience was what I persue.
