ABOUT ME

FROM 2006 when I joined Couchsurfing: jumping though fields of daisies... in the sunshine- i am Free...

THEN IN 2017: I've been in couchsurfing.org since 2006 which sounds crazy even to me. My experiences have all been really positive and I have appreciated the couchsurfing community and all that it has given to me over the years.

I am a forever learner who loves talking with people from different backgrounds. People and stories fuel me. I have a borderline obsession with music. I can't help but dance pretty much everywhere. I also crave some type of Asian food everyday. I have a job that sends me traveling all over, so I can't frequently host, but feel free to message me and I always happy to give suggestions on places to go and things to do in the lovely city of Chicago.

NOW 2025: Happy to be able to travel again now with a husband and two curious kids along for the ride. My hubby is a chef and my kids are 5 and 6 year old little bundles of energy, joy and love.

Can’t wait to expose them to different cultures and help them gain a global perspective that only travel can provide, all while playing on beaches, trying new foods, going on adventures and meeting families around the world.

art, writing, learning, films, cooking yumminess, music, music, music! philosophy, politics on a day that i am not too depressed, BBC, concerts, festivals, different cultures, the ocean, drums, drinkin, talkin all night, dancin all day, sushi all the time... coffee and chocolate.

I love everything by Milan Kundera, the alchemist, 1984, where the sidewalk ends... i read a lot and love recomendations

MUSIC:
sylvan esso, the national, grimes, the cure, die antwootd, david bowie, LCD sound system, the bleachers, nina simone, tribe called quest… just to name a few :)

FILMS:
lost in translation, city of god, vanilla sky, toy story...

i use to live in a cooperative house with 120 people and we shared everything- food, chores, life...
