ABOUT ME

We are a couple (Steve, 27 and Lena 25), living together with our two gerbils and a fat cat in a house near Stuttgart. We find it really hard to describe ourselfs, so Steve is going to describe Lena and vice versa...

...Steve is a really funny and nice guy. He is absolutely honest, gentle, reliable and open minded. He is very in to sports, especially football, also he really isn't good in sports at all. Therefor he is a teacher, he is very polite and can judge people an situations very good. At the moment he is sitting next to me on our really comfortable couch ;-) and a bit embarassed that I'm writing such 'good' things about him. But I'm afraight, it's true, well most of the time ;)

...I can descibe Lena as nice, pretty and funny girl. She likes animals, specially her horse, very much. Lena is very open-minded and outgoing and she also is very interested in foreign counries and travelling. Her favourite city is London. Lena is talented in making good cakes. But this is not her only talent; she is very reliable and tolerant. And she can play the flute very well but she unfortunately does not play for me. I also like her creativity and power.

Some more facts about the two of us:
We like any kind of trash. For example the great music of the 90ies (like Dr. Alban, Captain Jack, DJ Bobo, the old Backstreet Boys, or Aqua), trashy movies or TV series and most of all trash-books (the author Maja Merlin is just awesome). In our free time we love to meet our friends and spend time with them with playing games, go dancing or drinking together.

Within the last year we travelled through europe with our famous Opel (Vauxhall for the people from GB). We went to england and scotland in january '09 and throught eastern europe in summer (austria, slovenia, slovakia, croatia, serbia, hungary and romania).
This summer we plan to travel on the transsiberian railway from moscow to beijing. We are really looking forward to this trip and hope to find some nice hosts for that time;-)

We like the couchsurfing idea, because we love to travel. And we even more love to meet new people. And CS is a great way to compare these two things!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Lena stayed with a very nice CS host on Bali. We had some really awesome host during our trip though China, Mongolia and Russia.
We also had great surfers so far and hope there is still more to come!
