Hello there, dear reader!

I'm Tom, 23 years old chill guy from Czech Republic.

Im a computer guy, working as a programmer in a security company, but I am no basement dweller. I'd change city for a forest in a heartbeat. I love nature. Forests and countrysides are the places I go to clear my head and relax. I love traveling of course as most of the couchsurfers, but I also like music, parties and social stuff, you know... I love sports, I played street hockey (ball hockey) for about four years when I was a kid. Then I trained Wing Chun for few years, which became part of my soul, but I had to stop training because of health issues.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here mainly because I'd like to find here some locals to stay with and get some guidance around places that I visit, but also other people to hang around and travel with.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite music? Depends on the mood. If I wanna just kick back and relax, then some classic rock, jazz, electroswing and stuff... My favorite band is Pink Floyd. If I wanna party, then of course drum'n'bass all the way, especially neurofunk and jump-up (harder styles are my blood type). About books... then definitely beat generation, there is just something magical about their "freedom" Jack Kerouac is my fav, his On the Road got me hooked on this whole beat thing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Im not sure, one thing im kinda proud for is becoming a programmer in security company at 20 with just one year on uni. Then surviving a huge health issues and coming back to normal life without breaking down, which is well more of a doctor's achievement, but some say it was pure power of will.

Teach? Well I guess computer stuff, that's a talent I was born with. Then some Wing Chun principles. I can share some stories from my life. Good experiences, bad experiences, all the stuff that's part of living.
