ABOUT ME
Hey guys I'm Silvan, 24 years old. I study at Zürich university and hope to get my bachelor degree next summer. I love the outdoors, hiking and rockclimbing as well as pretty much any sport that involves a ball. I love to read even though i'm currently reading almost exclusively for uni. I'm e very relaxed guy, love to hang out in coffeeshops and bars and it always makes me happy to meet new people while travelling or also back at home.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I haven't been online very often lately but i'd love welcome some travellers in the new flat that i just moved in. I also hope to meet some People over this website during my upcoming stays in Paris and my 2 month travelling through Tanzania, Malawi and Zambia this Winter.
Interests
As already mentioned one of my main interests is sport. When travelling I always try to meet people and maybe share some Coffees, Beers or some wine. I also love to explore places on foot. If it's hiking in the mountains or strolling through a city, I always feel like this is the best way to really get to know a place.

Teach, Learn, Share
The best thing I can teach you when you come to my place is stuff about my City. I can tell you about the best places in Zürich to go swimming in the Lake and the River, where to go for a cheap but delicious meal or where to get the best beer.
Of course I love to show people around when they come here. It's always funny how travellers in Zürich notice stuff that i never really noticed because I'm just used to it. I guess you just look at things in a diferent way when you're travelling.
One thing that I always love to learn is a few words in whatever language you might speak. I also love to hear about the places other travellers come from or have been to. It always makes me immediatly plan a trip there that i will probably never take. But even imagining it is fun
