About Me
Hi, my name is Silvana and I am from Colombia. I am 29 years old and I love to travel and get to know new cultures, try new food and meet people to learn from their culture and visit all kind of places.
About myself I like to read books, learn from everything and share experiences with different people. I am an easy going person, friendly (a little shy at the beginning) and good listener.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It would be nice to talk with someone about the culture of the country, and have a good conversation
Interests
I love animals (my favorite animals are always the weirdest and "ugliest" like crocodiles, bats, sharks, sphynx cats) and nature. I want to know the real places to visit in each city, not only the tourist attractions. I think the best of each country is to meet local people and get to know their culture.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: George Ezra, Reggae, Lady Gaga, The Beatles, Miley Cyrus, Queen, Manu Chao. In this trip I have started to like reggaeton despite the lyrics because it reminds me of Colombia.
Books: latin american authors (Vargas Llosa, Sabato, Saramago), biographies, sci-fi novels like Brave New World (Aldous Huxley).
Movies: Thriller, action, science fiction, superheroes (my favorite is x-men), but I don't like scary ones. I love GOT and Outlander, and I have discovered K-dramas that are really cheesy but I love them haha.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I lived in the jungle (Mitú Vaupes in Colombia) until I was 6 years old, I think that's the reason why I love nature, animals and the sound of rain on the roof.
In Seoul (South Korea) I was trying to sleep but I was coughing non stop in the dormitory (8 persons) and some girl offered me to help me with a tradicional technique, like acupuncture without needless only with her finger, and she cured me! It was incredible! Koreans are really nice people and they always help you
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you Spanish and about Colombia: food, good Latin American books, where to travel, music, etc.
I would love if you could recommend me good places to visit and food to try, obviously it would be amazing if you can show me around.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook colombian food, show you some good music, and teach you Spanish
