Hello,

I'm Silvana and I'm a traveler who will be arriving in Europe for the first time. I'm currently living in Australia, but my days in this country are about to end and I'm going to start a new journey.

I studied public administration at University, tried to work in my career, but it was never something that really made me happy, until I started traveling. I was fortunate to live in New Zealand and Australia with the working holiday visa.
For me, traveling is realizing how much I can achieve by myself, leaving my comfort zone is something that is often not easy, especially when there is a large cultural and language barrier, but when you achieve it, it is something very satisfying. Exploring different places, discovering new realities, and enjoying new foods is something that opens my mind and my senses.

I would like to understand better the culture, gastronomy and language of the country I visit. Also, as I am a solo traveler, I consider that couchsurfing it is a good opportunity to socialize and share experiences with some local people.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Living for a year on a remote island in Australia's Great Barrier Reef. It's a small island that can be walked around in 20 minutes. This allowed me to swim with sharks and rays all the time.
