About Me

Free! Wild and calm, crazy and wise ;) I love to play, live to learn, laugh to love, and love to explore...and then laugh some more :) I am a seeker, forever curious about the tapestry about life. Spiral out, keep going...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To be surprised in all the best ways by how wonderful people are! There are magical people sprinkled all over the world, and often they are on the move because they themselves are moving inside. But when they can't be on the move, their hearts delight in meeting other people on the move, so their spirits may dance together in celebration of the new :)

Interests

I love mythology, and oceans and jungles, the deepest conversations, the very best jokes, and the wildest adventures. Funny thing is, they just keep getting deeper and better and wilder! Isn't life grand :)

Music, Movies, and Books

My taste wanders all over the place - music is a vehicle, and I like to travel, so many destinations! West African blues, interdimensional electronic funk, Hawaiian guitar, revolutionary hip-hop, reggae, jungle music, sacred soundscapes...we can definitely swap playlists :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent three months in a wildlife refuge in the Amazon working with a jaguar and two mountain lions, taking them for day-long walks through the jungle. Almost every day they would test me and jump on me and wrestle to play, and the scratches from that time are some of my most precious memories :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to experiment and to share what I've learned, so you can pick my brain about health, medicine, healing, fitness, permaculture, psychology, science, spirituality, whatever you like :) We can cook together, trade music, ideas, languages, philosophies. I'm also on a lifelong deep dive into the world's various astrologies and mythologies and I love to look at life through this lens too, to help people experience life as magic.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A new perspective, a listening ear, a friend who is like family and an alien at the same time :) And to be sure, help with whatever's going on at the moment! In traveling so widely and working as I go, I've learned more than my fair share of skills and I'm always ready to lend a hand to the project of the day, whether on land or at sea - but the sea is so much better! :P
