I've taught Literature, Grammar, Writing and Creativity for the past 12 years. I am taking a year off to pursue my creative work full time, or more, depending on how life goes.

I enjoy doing the following:
* reading contemporary poetry
* watching dumb shows on netflix
* talking to strangers in oddball places like the DMV
* singing, playing guitar if there is one
* social dancing, more specifically blues fusion
* improv, I kill it at having nothing to kill
* chasing my dog Hoopla when she kinda runs away
* winning at apples to apples/cards against humanity
* yoga, chanting, meditating
* visiting sacred spots - ranging from Zion National Park to the Vatican

I was valedictorian at my graduate school.
I've had over 100 roommates.
