About Me
Everyone calls me Fero. I believe I'm friendly, open-minded and always-up-for-something-new type of person :-) I like to have fun doing everything I do, and at the same time try to think how to add meaning to it. And I believe these two things go perfectly together!
I have graduated in 2013 in Bratislava (Slovakia) and moved to Oslo (Norway) for a data-science internship at Rubrikk.no. I travelled around this beautiful country, spent ten days behind the polar circle, performed and raised money for a good cause on the streets of Oslo and helped starting two new Toastmasters clubs.
Then I went for another adventure, to the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences in Ghana, where I was lured to realize another one of my dreams - teaching and helping Africa!
Currently I live in Cardiff, South Wales, with my girlfriend Tina. She studies and I work. Right now I'm a full time software engineer, occasional pizza chef at the Real Italian Pizza Company and a guitarist on the streets of Cardiff :-)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've had only great experience with CS - the people in the network are open, sociable and with a huge potential. I believe you can learn from every meeting with a Couchsurfer - share your story and become inspired in turn by the story you hear!
Interests
Music - listening and playing (guitar). Jamming with friends, street playing, improvising and writing songs. Mark Knopfler is my great inspiration
Toastmasters - a world-wide club for improving public speaking. Great place to get to know interesting people and hear their stories.
Pizza-making - worked in two pizzerias in US and doing a shift for fun here and there in one of Cardiff's best pizza places. Have my own pizza-quest blog ( http://ferovpizzaquest.blogspot.sk/2013/03/pizza-quest.html ). When we meet, we go for a pizza :-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Street-playing in Oslo the whole summer of 2014. With the money I raised I bought an electric guitar for the SOS village in Bergen (

Or a street play tour for one month in 2015 http://ferostreetplay.blogspot.sk/ :-)
Teaching and tutoring 40 African MSc students and at AIMS Ghana
Rope-swinging under the bridge in Bratislava

Fate does not just happen, we need to arrive at it
Always follow the path that makes your heart beat faster
The goal is not to get used to the pain, but to understand that pain is something you can survive
What I Can Share with Hosts
We should go for a pizza hunt ( http://ferovpizzaquest.blogspot.sk/ ) ! And share our story over a nice crispy pie :-)
