ABOUT ME

I am a curious person and enjoy meeting people from all over the world. I have traveled to Japan (loved it!) because my son lives there. Some of the places I would like to visit are Iceland, Vancouver Canada, New Zealand! For the last 5 years I worked a a mounted officer for the New York City Parks Department and had the opportunity to patrol Central Park, a very unique experience. My main hobby now is is sea kayaking, although I try to go sailing whenever I can.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Just came back from a two-day transit from NYC to Boston crewing on the schooner Lettie G. Howard which is an educational vessel owned by the South Street Seaport in NYC. Also was on the land support team for a 11-day sea kayak trip down the Hudson called The Great Hudson River Paddle (an event that is trying to create a water trail from Albany to NYC)!
