About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I'm trying to travel as much as I can before I head off for two years volunteering for an international development charity.
ABOUT ME
I'm fun and outgoing and really enjoy trying new things in new places. I'm due to start a two year volunteering post for a charity in 2011 but in the meantime I'm hoping to meet lots of new people and travel as much as I can. I enjoy cycling, sailing and have recently taken up climbing. I work for an art gallery and love to explore new places in London.
PHILOSOPHY
My friends are the most important thing in the world to me. I have a diverse group with wide-ranging interests but when I'm with every single one of them I feel like a better person. This is what life is about for me and I hope to meet more people who enrich my life in a similar way.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm pretty new to this but have hosted a few Couchsurfers and met many more for fun days and nights out both in London and elsewhere.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
One of my favourite experiences was a day trip to the beach in Spain with about 10 Couchsurfers ranging from countries as diverse as Albania, Brazil, Austria, Spain and the UK. The Brazilians are Capoeira instructors and treated us to an amazing display down by the water as the sun started to fade. Fantastic memories!
Interests
All sorts! I work for an art gallery so am definitely into art. I also really enjoy trips to the theatre and watching live music. From a sporty point of view I love cycling, sailing and climbing. My favourite activities in London are simply wandering around the streets, absorbing the atmosphere and looking for the amazing sites that you might otherwise miss if you were rushing by.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favourite novel is the Master and Margerita by Bulgakov which is a surreal story of what happens when the devil and his entourage visit Moscow. Music-wise I love all sorts, most recently I've been listening to Chromeo, Groove Armada and Plan B but my enduring love is for the Manic Street Preachers and (ahem) Bon Jovi.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Taking the Trans-Mongolian train from Moscow to Beijing was completely amazing - life-changing in more than one way!
