Few months ago I moved to the Sunshine Coast to do a seaweed-related PhD at the Sunshine Coast University. In the past 4 years I’ve lived in Ireland, in a small town called Bantry situated in West Cork. As part of my master`s degree in Aquaculture and Fisheries, I felt the necessity to live close to the sea and get deeper in the seaweed field, in which I`m developing my PhD. I lived in different countries, my first experience abroad was volunteering in Romania through an European Volunteering project regarding environmental education. Moreover, I moved to Portugal in 2017, to do a masters. Furthermore, I studied Environmental Sciences in Salamanca, a lovely city in Spain. I’m an open-minded, responsable and life lover person, always smiling and keeping positive vibes!

I can teach you a bit of Spanish, and useful words in Galician (an official language from my region in Spain). Break with Spanish stereotypes is also another thing that I could share, Spain is a big country with lots of traditions, and to be honest not everything is flamenco, paella, tortilla, toros... my area is totally different and I can demonstrate it! I love cooking and I’m happy to share with you some yummy Spanish recipes.
