Overview
About Me
My family and I have been on Couchsurfing for years hosting people in my hometown Catania, Sicily. I'm used to see Couchsurfers in and out of my home and I've always loved it. Now that I'm a grown up and living on the other side of the world, I've decided to join Couchsurfing with my own profile.
I love to travel and learn about different countries and cultures. I moved to Sydney in November 2015 to try follow my dream of having a job in the Tourism field. Currently studing at Sydney Business and Travel Academy for Certificate III in Tourism. I'm easy-going, kind and friendly.
When I was 17 I decided to go on exchange in the US. I stayed with a local host family for 11 months. Now I volunteer with AFS, the organization that send me on exchange.
Religion is a big part of my life. I'm catholic and I attend Mass every Sunday. I also have been a part of my local youth group since I was 14 (even when I was in the US).
I'm a black belt in Karate (shotokan style). I've done it for 8 years and I miss my team a lot.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe locals have better insights of the place. And of course, to meet cool people!
Interests
One of my biggest passion is makeup. I would have loved to study to become a makeup artist. Maybe one day I'll do a course just for fun.
I'm really into fictional/adventure/fantasy/dystopian novels as well as tv shows. I like pop music and my favorite artist is Ariana Grande.
I am a museum nerd (I expecially love art galleries). Big fan of ancient history and mythology.
I love to travel of course. I find it very interesting when people tell me the differences between their home country and the country they live in.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite artist is Ariana Grande. I went to her concert in Milan in May 2015.
I don't have a favorite book (as someone really smart said, it is like choosing between your children). Some of my favorite series include: Percy Jackson (even though it is suppost to be for children), Divergent, Hunger Games, Harry Potter.
I can't survive without tv-shows. Some of my favorite are: Once Upon A Time, The Carrie Diaries, The Vampire Diaries, Friends, Awkard, Pretty Little Liars, Downtown Abbey and Scream Queens.
