Hello!
I'm Silvia and I'm from a very small and unknown town in northern Italy. I studied in a language school and travelled around Europe during my studies. Now I'm graduating in Foreign languages and Literature at the University of Milan. I have been in Tromsø for six months last year as an Erasmus-student.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

At the moment I'm only curious about meeting local people while travelling in European cities. I think this is also an alternative and cheep way to travel.

Interests

Of course one of my main interest is learning foreign languages. I love different cultures, foreign litterature and meeting people.
I also like music very much and I've been playing the piano since I was for years old.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite music genre is rock music from the 70's. I like Led Zeppelin, Neil Young and Bob Dylan. I often listen to some current music, too, such Katie Melua or Kings of Convenience...

If I have to name a film I really like, I say: "Little miss sunshine, of course!".

I really love the norwegian author Erlend Loe, and I wrote my bachelor-thesis about his first works.

What I Can Share with Hosts

At the moment I'm just travelling during my studies. Maybe, in the first minutes I enter a house, I could be a little shy with my hosts, but after a while, I think I could just start sharing my experiences abroad, my interests... and some help, if they need ;)
