About Me

I love spring and the smell of linden trees after the rain. I enjoy being on the road and the freedom that comes with it. Sometimes I talk a lot sometimes i don't.

Im drawn to remote places and things undiscovered. Right now I am exploring life during lockdown in Tulum, Mexico and planning for a big trip to Asia soon.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing brings the world to my doorstep when I can't go out into the world. I love having people from all corners of the world and all walks of life. With each Couchsurfer comes a totally new experience, sometimes crazy off-the rails, sometimes quiet and philosophical. I love it.

For the authenticity. I grew up in a very culturally diverse environment and when I'm abroad I like experiencing places as authentically as I possibly can - and there's no better way to do that than living and hanging out with locals.

Interests

A road trip, an insane hike, a festival, a cooking session.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I sold or donated about 80% of my stuff in 2016.
I slid down a 2600m mountain on my ass, through the snow, in the middle of February, with a coucsurfer who couldn't rent equipment because she didn't know how to skii. Had the time of my life.
Spent a magical month and a half in Morocco by myself.
Went on a beautiful mosque hunt in Iran
Finally hitting the road for an extended period of time (December 2017)
Set up a great life and career in Tulum, Mexico which I'm ready to leave again to explore new parts of the world.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you a thing or two about photography
How to cook some pretty cool Eastern European dishes.
That it can be pretty cool to read stuff out loud to people.
How to properly tie your hiking boots.
Weird facts about Romania's old communist regime.
All about my funky way of doing laundry.
Some bellydance moves.
