ABOUT ME

We are a young couple from Quito, Ecuador, who are going to travel around the East Coast of the U.S. this summer. I would say we are fun to be around, we love to laugh and joke around and to have long talks about anything and everything. We are always open to lend a helping hand to travelers in need and have a passion for broadening our horizons with new ideas and cultures. César is a very creative newly-graduated Architect and I (Silvia) have a major in Communication and currently work as a translator.

Interests

We both love traveling and are planning on visiting many locations in the upcoming years (hopefully Europe next year!). We love many kinds of music from classic rock to jazz and reggae, sci-fi and comedy movies, architecture, visiting places that most tourists don't get a chance to see, we love going to parties and concerts, and of course, eating and cooking traditional dishes from our country and trying everything there is to try in each city's culinary experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

We especially enjoy classic rock, jazz, blues, indie, techno and house. Our favorites movies include Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, anything Lars Von Trier or Kubric, and many more!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

As a couple we very much enjoyed our trip to the Galapagos Islands, were we saw unique giant tortoises, swam with sea lions, took many pictures of iguanas and blue-footed boobies, and got to do research and work with the community to develop several architecture projects.

Teach, Learn, Share

We can teach you interesting facts and experiences from our life in Ecuador and the many trips we have made throughout the U.S. and Europe! We love helping travelers to have amazing experiences in our country and greatly appreciate anyone that helps us do the same in their hometown.
