About Me
Hey there, welcome to our profile!! 😊
These are Silvia and Joao from Brazil. We are a couple from Brazil who met each other in Australia and became life partners since then 🥰
In 2022, instead of making a huge wedding, we decided to spend the money in a way we would enjoy even better. So, as soon we got married, we started our one year trip around the world, like a long and adventurous honey moon.
Well, we both had this dream of travelling the world and we decided to make it happen. Joao quit his job, as electrical engineer and I took a period off mine, as a business consultant. We saved some money (not much) and travelled on budget, using strategies of hitchhiking, CS, volunteering jobs, etc.
It was one of the best years of our lives where we could meet a lot of generous people who made our journey nothing less than incredible. We had the opportunity of visiting many countries we wanted so much such as Iran, Iraq, Nepal and many others (19 overall).
It was one of the best experience of our lives and CS made it more than possible, it made our journey even better. We have met a lot of nice and good people on the way and all of them just made us want to be hosts in Brazil.
We came back to Brazil in 2023 and now we are glad to share that we are all set up (both of us are working from home) and want to meet and host new people in our home country, in order to give back to this beautiful community.
Joao is a funny guy, crazy about football and he loves to talk to people while drinking a good beer (actually, he is a talkative guy, but in a good way, don’t worry). He also likes Brazilian barbecue parties with good friends and music.
Silvia is more like a listener than a talker kind of a person, she likes practicing yoga and sometimes enjoy her own time by herself. She likes eating healthy food but loves a good beer while talking to people, especially about life.
We both like hiking and nature. So we usually prefer landscapes types of trips than others.
That’s a little bit of our vision about us, if you are interested and would like to meet us to have your own opinion about us, just drop us a message. We will be more than happy to talk to you.
