ABOUT ME
My best friend, who is actually sitting now next to me, drinking her coffee, would tell you that I'm an easy-going person with a big smile and a lot of positive energy. I'm always looking forward to meeting new people and finding out their life-stories because I have always been passionate about exploring different cultures and lifestyles.
PHILOSOPHY
"Sit down before fact like a little child, and be prepared
to give up every preconceived notion, follow
humbly wherever and to whatever abyss Nature
leads, or you shall learn nothing".
T. H. Huxley

Music, Movies, and Books
Some of my favorite film directors are Krzysztof Kieslowski, Stanley Kubrick, Ingmar Bergman, Wong Kar-wai, Jan Svankmajer and Peter Greenaway. I love listening to music all day long, get inspired by Radiohead, Arcade Fire, The Doors, Pink Floyd, Queens Of The Stone Age, Led Zeppelin, Porcupine Tree, RHCP, Massive Attack, Jethrotull and lots more.
Books...hmmm...philosophy and SF books. I like reading poetry as much as I can.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One special moment I always think fondly of is the boat ride I took with my friend Martina when we were in Croatia. We were at sea in her friend's motor boat, we had just taken a swim, we were laughing and sunbathing in the soft breeze when her friend took a hunting knife and he dove in the sea coming back with a handful of oysters. He opened them right there on the boat and we ate them with our fingers; they were the greatest oysters that I have ever tasted! Another special memory that I have is from the Transylvania International Film Festival that takes place in Cluj-Napoca, where I live. The city comes to life in the most amazing way possible. Film lovers rush from one cinema to the other, they discuss passionately about films they've seen while enjoying a coffee or a beer somewhere outside, the streets are filled with people of all ages that go to open air concerts and other interesting activities that take place during the festival, for example the lovely TIFF volunteer parties where you can meet people from the film industry.
