I'm Silvia Clo and this summer I hope it will change my life. I am an italian filmmaker and author. In addition to turning 30 I will be on the road touring my short film. I worked as director signing more than 20 music videos, in contemporary art and advertising.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

this summer I'm taking my short film Chicken in Pineapple '98 on tour, on July 20 we're in Toronto at the Italian Contemporary Film Festival, then we go to New York and Milwuakee! The short is independent and we don't have a lot of funds for travel, so we are looking, me and my partner Samuel, also the scriptwriter of the short, for accommodation for a few days!

I really love contemporary novels and classic ones. My fav writers are Virginia Woolf, Eugenides, Donna Tartt, Natalia Ginzburg, Elsa Morante.

Music is so familiar to me because my sister is a songwriter so I grew up with a giant passion and presence of music (from classic italian opera to 90s punk rock through indie and alternative rock from 2010s)

I wrote the first Italian TV series developed and performed by the LGBTQIA+ community, Love Club, released on Prime Video Italia.

I helped in the tent cities in L'Aquila after the earthquake
