About Me

I'm Silvie, I came to Scotland in 2012 and I immediately fell in love. I have been living here since. I have met lots of wonderful people here and I have learnt a lot. This has inspired me to share my experiences with others and become more open. I have a great love and interest for other cultures, and think every one holds a new piece of knowledge for me and my fellow people on this planet. I like to see as many things as possible, meet with as many kinds of people as I can with different backgrounds and histories.. as I love to travel and experience the diversity of our world. I do art, (https://www.facebook.com/szilvercristofoli) and work part time in the most wonderful cafe in Glasgow (https://www.facebook.com/projectnomadicartcafe) - which I highly recommend to anyone visiting Glasgow. I can make a nice coffee or a tea - one of the many skills I've learnt there.
One of my favourite pasttimes is partying with party people, who are open and joyful just like me! I like to think ponder upon things - especially in the morning!

I have a dog called Ruben who has a truly lovely personality, he came with me all the way from Hungary, good friend of mine. He also has very soft fur, perfect for a pillow. Good skill! I like to take him travelling with me when I can, and if you come here you will definitely have the pleasure of meeting him.

I'm not so good at getting across my true Self on the internet, so maybe we should leave the rest for when we meet in real life.

PHILOSOPHY

: )

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new and wonderful people, who can help me out in new countries, and who I can help out in my home : ) I think that couchsurfing is a great way to learn about the culture of the place you are staying because you immediately immerse yourself in the society by staying in a local's home.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach people my way of life, maybe not always through words, but through my actions.
I learn others' perspectives and aspirations for life, through my openness, each lesson affecting me conciously and sub-conciously.
I can share my creative works and thoughts with all who I have a connection with.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Peace, love and gratitude.
