About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Share the ride, the wonderful global ride.
ABOUT ME
I'm a computer guy, but I eventually grew up. I don't write software anymore, Iâm now conferencing, teaching, enabling field experts and managing a field enablement team.
I wrote a geek book and I liked the writing experience: http://www.amazon.com/CCNA-Certification-All-one-Dummies/dp/0470489626/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1242482155&sr=1-1 I am planning to keep on writing. Maybe not geek books though.
I have a pretty global view of things, having traveled quite extensively and having lived in 4 different countries. The world is a beautiful place (and I got proofs).
PHILOSOPHY
Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.
Well, actually, I stole this from Leo DaVinci, but I find it applies to how I think. So, there you go.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I don't travel as much as I used to, so keeping in touch with the traveling community is a good way to keep my travel addiction in check.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Newbie. I traveled a LOT, but somehow I have only recently discovered CouchSurfing.
Interests
I like cars, motorbikes, airplanes, trains, cruise ships and all the nice big shiny toys out there. I admire engineering feats, which might sound pretty boring I guess, but I canât deny it.
I like to ride my motorbike and drive my car faaaast (guess I have a thing for speed).
I like hanging out with friends and family. I love a catch phrase that I heard once at the company I work for: âCatch someone doing something good.â
I play tennis (also volleyball and soccer occasionally). I run (sometimes). I like water: swimming and just enjoying the waves. I LOVE living just 2 hrs away from the beach, as opposed to 11 hrs.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like Michael Crichton books. I like The Alchemist. I like thrillers (Steve Berry). I like books that teach me things, well, all books teach me something, but, I mean books like "Innovators Dilemma", "How to Castrate a Bull" and other like these.
I like pretty much any kind of music: it goes from Thievery Corporation, to Budha Bar, to classical, to Beastie Boys, to Armin van Buuren, to Above&Beyond, to Chemical Brothers, to Moby to Radiohead, to The Tea Party.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I learnt to walk when I was 1 or 2 years old. THAT was amazing.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teaching data storage design and implementation around the world was probably the best experience in my life so far, on so many levels.
