Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been dying to travel my whole life and am slowly beginning to explore the world. I've spent 10 days in Bolivia doing a service learning project and am currently studying in Canada for a year. I hope to FINALLY go to Europe this summer so hopefully this site can help me out.

Interests

Obstetric medicine, animals, biology, diagnostic medicine, embryonic stem cells, epidemiology, diseases,
vectors, neuropsychology, pharmacology, languages,
hormones, outer space, nationalities/heritages, etc.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to every type of music except for country. Techno is the best!! I like horror and comedy movies the most and bookwise, I only read Obstetric/midwifery books cuz I'm a nerd like that.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw 2 natural births and 3 c sections while volunteering in Bolivia. It was a life changing experience that helped me figure out exactly what I want to do in medicine... Deliver babies!! :-D

Teach, Learn, Share

the cnidocysts (stinging cells that enclose the cnidae which is the harpoon-like stinger) on jellyfish tentacles hold back 140 atm of pressure. the pressure we experience on Earth is 1 atm... so tell me, how does one little cell membrane hold back that amount of pressure?? beats me.
