About Me

CURRENT MISSION

thoroughly enjoy my time here on earth

ABOUT ME

Live and work in Toronto. Originally from Istanbul and have spend a significant portion of my life in Vancouver, BC.

I'm pretty social but for whatever reason, most of my favorite things to do require alone time. I listen to a lot of podcasts, play way too much sudoku, eat delicious and bizarre foods all over the world. I travel solo often and am pretty low maintenance.

PHILOSOPHY

"Knowing how to be solitary is central to the art of loving. When we can be alone, we can be with others without using them as a means of escape."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Surf, host, or happy to meet up with travelers in Toronto even if I can't host at the time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed with multiple hosts in Miami so far and had nothing but the most amazing experiences.

Interests

I like learning. I read, watch documentaries, listen to poscasts, travel and talk to people.

I've been going to shows and music festivals on a regular basis since grade 9. I go out often but I secretly prefer to stay in almost every time.

Predominantly intrigued by issues surrounding social justice.

If you're genuinely interested in anything I'm most likely going to be down to talk about it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hmm.. Well.. I almost accidentally kayaked to Greece once.
