Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Actually, I met this site in 2007 summer. Me and my sister started surfing couches and hosting people together. I mostly travelled with her and we live in the same appartment, so I didn't need an account. Years passed, and here I am. An old but NEW member of couchsurfing :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My most interesting story is about two italian friends. They first surfed our couch in Istanbul, then met our parents. After they returned to their country, we went to Rome, their city and stayed at their house, met their family. They came back to Istanbul to live for couple of months, and I also visited them in London, where they also lived a couple of months :)

Interests

Singing, dancing, smoking water-pipe in a 'nargile kafe', sitting in a calm place and chatting with friends. In addition: I love shopping. :)

I have been singing in 3 different choirs of my school's music club: BÜMK classical choir, rock choir and jazz choir. Now I sing in the jazz choir only. I like it a lot and spend a lot of time for it.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Norah Jones, Jamie Cullum, Kings of Convenience, Swingle Singers, The Real Group, any a cappella song.

Movie: I always end up liking the movie that I've just watched. However, I didn't like Don't Mess with Zohan ana hated Ghost Rider.

Books: Don't judge me but It is rare that I read books. I prefer spending that time with more sociable things like meeting with my friends, going to the cinema, theater.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We were in World Choir Championship in Graz, Austria. The moment when our name was called as world champion was amazing. :)
