ABOUT ME

I just recently graduated from my undergraduate university (University of Wisconsin-Madison) with a BS in Biochemistry. I am planning on spending the next year abroad teaching English to kindergartners in Beijing, China. I am scared, excited, and eager all at the same time. I am sure it will be a fantastic year and I will ultimately learn more about myself and my aspirations. I currently know that my passion lies in traveling and exploring different cultures and meeting new people. I am a fun, high energy, extraverted person who is up to trying most anything.

PHILOSOPHY

Explore, Live, Learn, and most importantely appreciate how furunate you are. Most anyone on this site is furtunate if they have the opportunity to travel and we should never take this for granted. Do not let some worries take over your life and look at the bigger picture. Also always try to be open minded and place yourself in someone else's view point.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hopefully in a few months I will find myself in a stable position so that I can host people. However, currently I am looking for people to host my sister and I in our 24 hour layover in Zurich.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have a friend in Chicago who hosted people on his couch also I had a friend in Quito, Ecuador who did coffee and drinks with people. I have personally participated in couch surfing before. I have always meant to join but did not find time to do so before now.

Music: Alot of Indie music but like most music besides corny pop and christian music
Movies: dancer in the dark (with bjork), the royal tennenbaums, amelie, perros amores, donnie darko, the bubble boy, big fish, finding neverland, little children, Spanish Apartment

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been very furtunate in my life so far and have been able to see so many beautiful things and places. However, no matter how many amazing mountian top or sea sunsets I see I can still always appreciate a more simple Midwestern Sunset.
