About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Graduate student at B.U. Major in Busi and Eco Journalism

ABOUT ME

I am open-minded. After a year of spending time with friends from everywhere, I am used to learn that people are not all living in the same way, eating in the same way and thinking in the same way.
It is so interesting to see the world, to learn that an individual is so small in front of the world.
I am talkative and quiet at the same time. Feeling more comfortable staying with a small group, I will be a little bit shy when surrounded by a big group of people.
With "bad" luck during my life and travel, I always have stories to tell. A friend says I'm her fav story teller.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe life is mortal and really short. So money is not important. I appreciate that I am young now so I can do many things impulsively. Happy is important.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I could not offer couch until I get to Boston. But I‘d love to hang out with people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stayed on a girl's couch in Nanjing, China for three nights after my friends told she would not go with me right before we were leaving in Summer, 2011.
But it turned out to be so awesome memory.
So when I travelled in Bangkok, Thailand last winter, I chose to be a couchsurfer again.
A young guy offered me to sleep on his floor on the first night I arrived in Bangkok.
We talked until 5 a.m. that night. It was so fun experience to exchange knowledges and answer each other's questions.
I spent two other nights in a lovely apartment with some other couchsurfurs and a father and kid from America in Bangkok.
When I sit on the couch, looking at the friends I met there, I felt so blessed!

Interests

A lot!
Recently, I'm obsessed with photography and help some exchange students to take headshots.

Seriously, I can take some photos of you if you want!

Music, Movies, and Books

Since I am chinese, so the most these things I am interested in is in Chinese.
As for books, I like the Haruki Marakami, his books are unique I believe.
Movies: THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, Forrest Gump. Also series of UK and USA.
Not long before I saw a Thai movie --Permanent. It's amazing!
Music I love old music. Music in 70s or 80s

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went to Mexico with myself for ten days, knowing a few a few words in Spanish and made it back safe!

Encouraging myself for five minutes, I began to talk to the lady next to me on the plane flew from Denver to Oklahoma City.
It was three months before, when I first came to Oklahoma, America.
We had a nice talk.
I still think I was crazy when I asked her if we could change emails.
I just wanna thank her for complementing my English.
But now, we became good friends and hang out sometimes!

I love PEOPLE!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm learning Spanish by myself.

As I've mentioned, I know something about the cameras and taking photos.
Also Chinese food!
