I am a 31 year old, open minded young men. I like to visit new countries, see nice, beautiful places and enjoy nature hiking, snowboarding and biking together with my girlfriend. Regularly I also go swimming. As I appreciate to learn, how people think, believe and live, I often discuss and enjoy talks. To listen to people and respect their opinions and local rules is very important to me. I do the same in my home too. I did and still do my education at the university ETH Zürich, Switzerland and studied in interdisciplinary sciences, a branch of study including physics, math, chemistry and computational sciences. I work as an assistant for a chemistry laboratory.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I like to make contact with new people, to have discussions and to philosophise about god and the earth, to learn other peoples point of view, couch surfing seems to be a very promising travel method. It enables me faster to have some "true" connection to locals and to probably get some interesting hints where to go to.

Music, Movies, and Books

I highly appreciate GoT, Harry Potter, Lord of the ring trilogy and Batman. But I also like very different, older films like "One Flew Over The Cukoo`s Nest" or "The Thorn Birds". Well known operas and musicals like "phantom of the opera" etc. I like too in filmed version.
At the moment I do not really regularly read other than scientific literature. The already launched reading of Fjodor Dostojewkis "the idiot" progresses slowly. Nearly daily I read news from different countries and newsletters as I am also highly interested in politics and economy. In pretty much every music style I can find one or more songs that I like. In general I would say, I hear the common radio music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing things I`ve done in my life so far was skydiving in the swiss alps. I did the skydive-education (AFF, accelerated free fall) and jumped about 30 times out of the aircraft...

What I Can Share with Hosts

I think that I could take with me all of the needed ingredients to prepare and enjoy a nice, typical swiss dinner together (One may of course discuss what this could be in advance, pretty sure I would also need some local, fresh food products). Some original swiss chocolate should find its way into my baggage too...
