About Me

As of 2015 I am a Director of a construction company in Sustainable Homes Melbourne.
After a stint of travel for 18 months I uncovered an immense passion for all things sustainable and ecological. My days are spent working long hours building a business that will change the way Australia builds it's houses.

In regards to traveling, I love to travel, it is something that fuels my fire. I hope to get overseas at least once per year.

I am trying to be a vegetarian though I still eat fish from time to time. I love yoga, hiking, rock-climbing, snowboarding and scuba-diving. Also love to go out have fun and a drink or two.

CURRENT MISSION 2011

Experience everything I can.

ABOUT ME

I'm a 27 year old Builder from Australia. I have ran my own business for the past 5 years,I had to full time workers and we did all types of carpentry and extensions and renovations. I have planned this trip for quite sometime but was unable to pull myself away from my business. I finally have and am keen to see as much of the world as possible. I will go back into business when I return to OZ. But I am not likely to take anything seriously for a few years. I have learnt a lot from my time and i do look forward to going back refreshed and keen to re-build the business. I like to work hard and play hard. At the moment there's not a lot of work to do, so I'm playing pretty hard. Although I still like a good balance. I try to stay healthy and fit. But I'm not obsessive about it. I'm well organized, genuine and helpful.

PHILOSOPHY

Do well but do some good.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I Couchsurfed a lot when I traveled through 2012/13 and the thing I love most about it was the lifelong friends I made. (You know who you are)

It's such a generous exercise to give part of your space up for a globetrotter to stay. I feel so much gratitude and respect for all those that open their home to me.

I also love to get under the skin of the culture of a city and I think Couchsurfing is a great way to do that.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've done lots of things I think are amazing and that I'm proud of.
Traveling the world for 18 months and building a business from scratch to name a few.

There's no one amazing thing but life is amazing if you decide it's going to be!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm trying to learn meditation.
I love to have highly intellectual conversations about the state of the world, but not everyone is into that, I know!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I want to share my enthusiasm for life.
Life isn't always what it's cracked up to be, it's hard.
But it's the only life we've got, there is no second chances!
So live life the way YOU want to live it.
Dream as much as you can and believe in the impossible!
Life's what you decide it's going to be!
