CURRENT MISSION

Hi everybody, how are you?

My husband and I took a sabbatical for travelling around the world. We want to broaden our horizons and experience new cultures, different ways of thinking and living.

During the trip we travel by bike, tent and sleeping bags or with backpacks. Meeting new friends, who are kind, open minded and respectful is what we are looking for.

Based in Germany, our first step in 2022 was to cycle towards Istanbul. After 3500km we still liked the idea of cycling and are now headed cycling further East without having a goal.

As for climate change, we prefer to stay on the ground and not taking the plane at the expense to our environment. Good intentions, but we had to break that rule for several reasons already.

If a stay at your place happens one day we are happy to help in return in the household, garden, with childcare, petting your pets - our just with good talk :)

We are looking forward to meet you to exchange experiences!

ABOUT ME

Simon (36): My friends describe me as open-minded, nice, tolerant, optimistic and calm. I like to meet new people and hear their stories.
There is more than just black and white. I always try to be fair, tolerant and serene.

Parsival (47): I am an honest, happy and creative person. There is always a reason to be optimistic and I am always in for a good laugh. Also I like to cook, play the flute, guitar and piano.

You meet so many nice people from different countries and everybody shares the passion for travelling. During our trips we made many new friends and got detailed insights in various countries.

Muzyka, filmy i książki

Books that teach us various life experiences or new points of view are very welcome. Learning from the past as well as from contemporary issues is important to us.

We love electronic music and a night out in good clubs as well as to visit an opera or theatre. While learning to play the flute and piano (Simon is a beginner, Parsival is more advanced) we are definitely interested in classical music as well. Big dream ever since: Learning to play sax :)

Giving up daily life for cycling through 15 countries (and still counting).

Exchanging about different cultural backgrounds is important to us and we can also teach you about our passions. We like artsy stuff pretty much. Also we practice yoga, meditation and mindfulness.

While preferring vegetables over meat we still love cheese though. We believe in science and therefore do our best to minimize our ecological footprint. Yes, we already travelled a lot, but managed our daily life by bicycle and public transport without owning a car back in Germany.

However, we really want to share life experiences and get to know all kinds of different people from many nations! Maybe we can talk about that stuff, too :)
