Passionate about travelling and music!
Especially 'old' music: 70's, 80's, classic rock. I play the drums and I'm learning to play guitar as well. I am all about freedom and joy. I enjoy good food, Belgian beers, and all kinds of movies and books. Fantasy, thriller, detective...
Also, I'm into history and politics. I'm currently studying law at Utrecht University and I'm producing, editing and presenting a show on YouTube.

Living in a large room inside a student/young adult complex. Shared kitchen and bathroom, but some private space as well. No luxury, but it's a really cool place if you don't care for that kind of stuff!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I started travelling the USA and Europe just a few years ago and I don't think I will ever stop! Wherever I went, I always enjoyed the help of friendly locals and now I'd like to return the favour. I love the idea behind Couchsurfing: helping each other out and meeting new people!

Interests

Besides music and travelling, I'm into politics and history.

Politics.
I'm love freedom. I'm leaning towards libertarianism, although I want to protect this earth's beautiful nature as well! I'd just like to see the government leave people alone, both at home and abroad (Middle East). I'm really openminded and accepting of other views and I enjoy debates.

History.
With a mother who's a history teacher, it's only natural that I too find history interesting. I especially like the Ancient Greek and Roman societies and the Middle Ages in Europe. I really enjoy movies and books that take place in these times.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:

60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, 00's.
(Classic) rock and pop music and rap/hip hop. I like almost anything.
AC/DC and Guns N Roses, but also Michael Jackson. Elton John and Paul Simon, but also Eminem. The list goes on and on!

Movies & Books:

Such a wide variety of books and movies...
Thrillers, detectives, fantasy. But also deep stuff. I loved the Eragon series, LOTR and A Secret History, for example. Also enjoyed all of Henning Mankell's work!
Breakfast Club, the Green Mile and Forrest Gump are among my favourite movies. But I like MARVEL and STAR WARS as well.

My huge summer '16 trip: 1 night at the Moscow airport, NY, Boston, Miami, Chicago, Las Vegas, California (including San Francisco and LA)!

I've got place for 1 or 2 people (3 if really needed). Not too comfortable (just 1 extra pillow, for example), but I can show you around. There's always enough food around and I don't really have any rules.
