Hi, I'm Simon! I grew up mostly in a small village in County Down, but moved about the UK since I was 18! I just graduated from med school in England and now work as a doctor in Belfast.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have had the opportunity to meet some really cool people in my travels. Some of them have become lifelong friends, some more fleeting. It has been such a great way to see things through the eyes of a local and learn about people, language & culture. This has made me really want to do the same for others when they come to the UK!

I figured couch surfing is the way to go for making friends with people from all around the world. It's also great for getting tips on how to be a more savvy traveller and meeting other travellers!
