I am Simon, 26-years-old French guy, currently carrying out a PhD about rocket engines simulations in Toulouse.
I love to travel, go on adventures and meet new people as I do almost every summer!
I am a friendly open-minded person. Discover new cultures, ways of living, new people are the things I like the most when I travel: reasons why I chose to join the Couchsurfing community :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To travel by a different way: discover a place by they eyes or habits of the locals is a different experience than just follow a tourist guide!

Music, Movies, and Books

Actually I play music myself: piano, saxophone and electric guitar. So my tastes correspond more or less to what I can play: mostly rock/metal, blues/jazz but also classic, film musics...

My favorites movies are generally sci-fi movies: as a passionate about sciences and especially everything which is related with space, I think this is normal! For example films like Interstellar completely makes me dream, and give me the inspiration why I want to work in aerospace :)
And of course such great sagas like Star Wars, The Lord of the Rings, etc...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I would say, to be lost in Latvia's forests when the most huge tempest I have ever seen arrived on our camp, which lead to an evacuation of 3-hours walk under a storm: kind of an epic moment haha

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share with you my passion for aerospace, teach you some French, indicate you the nice places to visit in France ;)

I am always eager to learn about other culture!

What I Can Share with Hosts

My good mood, share some beers, philosophic conversations (but no need if you do not want haha) play some music for/with you :) I would also be happy to cook and share some meals, even if I am not the great cooker in the world, that would be enough x)
