Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Whenever I used to travel before starting coach surfing it generally ended up being the same as if I was on coach surfing. I'd go some place with no accommodation booked, make friends there and stay with them 90% of the time. What's the point of staying in a hotel when there are amazing people out there to meet?
