About Me

I'm an adventurer, constantly looking for cultural shock. I'm totally fearless. Born and raised in the back-country without power and telecommunications(believe it or not), but i spent most of my life in Montreal city, so I can adapt to any situations. I'm a genuine person who loves to share my knowledge.
I have finally go back to my sources, I'm now living in a big house on a farm.
I'm starting a project aiming to towards self-sufficiency, based on completing natural cycles and trades on a personal scale.
Which means, real endless and sain growth. As oppose of capitalism.
It seems utopic, it is in some ways, but remember this:
We have been doing it for millenium….now we are not able anymore?!?
6 générations ago most people lived without électricity and with a fraction of the knowledge and technology we have now.

My childhood gave me an exceptional understanding of the nature. My travels showed me so many ways to live. Since my son is born, my craving for travelling went away. I never thought I would be, that much, fulfilled of being a dad.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The more I traveled and the more I realized that a beach is a beach and mountains are mountains. What really changes is the peoples that lives on it. And then you realized that we are all human and we are all in pursuit of happiness. The main difference is our conception off it.
Having locals showing you around and sharing there point of view about there own country is priceless.

Since I'm starting a little ''farm'' (greenhouse, chicken, donkey, goat, paon and maybe yaks) there will be a lot of work to do. Agriculture, taking care of livestock, construction, mechanic etc
The house is huge, many extra rooms.
The land is beautiful and there's a big river and waterfall right next to it. (I will put pictures of everything soon)

Interests

I love nature in it's hole. For me every parts of every a living thing is a miracle of évolution. I like to understand and witness cycles of natures. Analyzing behaviors.
My plan is to channel natural energy to work for me on many levels and aspects. Of course solar passive buildings but also using animals and even plants behavior to my advantage instead of fighting it.

I also love construction I've been doing it for over 20 years. I had the chance to work on very specials projects throughout my career and I'm passionate about it.
