About Me

Puh, find out yourself, shouldn't be too difficult as I am direct and I don't dissimulate myself

You can check my reviews, they give a good impression I guess.

Better write a few days in advance, I don't always check the platform and need to plan a bit if I am around or not!!!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Whenever I have time and I am home, I offer my couch to people as it is always nice to meet travellers while you can't travel on your own. While travelling I always switch between couchsurfing and hostels, I think it's a good mix.

Meeting interesting people from other countries is always something I like.
Travelling as I define it is for me not only to see the main sights of a country, but also to get to know the people, their every day habits, how they think and especially why they think this way. (book recommendation here: The righteous mind. Why good people are divided by politics and religion) If possible I like to learn some bits of the local language too. It enables you to understand the culture better. I like to make my mind up on those things and analyse everyday life processes. Couchsurfing makes it easier from time to time.

Interests

Talking about history, politics, philosophy different cultures, travelling, football, health etc. But I guess I can talk about quite anything in general and I really enjoy having good conversations.

I am reading a lot (factbooks) in my leisure time and also while travelling as it helps me broaden my mind

Books: too many to list here, I will probably recommend you some, depending on your interest, I read a lot normally

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I like some things I have done, if this was "amazing" is up for others to judge

Had some fun experiences though e.g. being a Superstar in an Uzbek train station

Teach, Learn, Share

Depends absolutely on your interests: I can teach you some languages, critical media pov, a more sustainable lifestyle DIY, or diet recommendations

I can also give you some reading recommendations or videos that I think are worth it, depending whether you are interested

What I Can Share with Hosts

As I speak some languages I can teach you if you are interested. Otherwise I always like to tell other people what a good travel destination is
(I have a collection from the www about good and often unknown travel destination on Dropbox and I share it to whoever is truly interested)

In case I find time we can have a night walk through a beautiful (and safe) park next to my house

I personally like to have a good conversation which then broadens the mind of both people

PLS DON'T WRITE IMPERSONAL REQUESTS, I WILL JUST DELETE THEM
