About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Accepting good fortune where I find it.

ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in mid-coast Maine. Since then I have been pretty itinerant. Chile, Mexico, Prague, North Carolina, Minnesota, Atlanta, Boston are all places I've lived for a period of time.

I am passionate about my work, I am passionate about my friends and my family, and I am passionate about making the most of life's good fortune.

PHILOSOPHY

Oof. Tough one. If I were to derive a philosophy from what I've done, I'd say that growth comes first. And growth means taking risks, feeling that slight hum of unease as you step away from the familiar, and learning to like it. That said, I don't feel "philosophical" about my philosophy; it feels unwilled, unthought, biological. But I guess there's a quality of intent in my conviction that I need to honor that photosynthetic instinct.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love this concept! I'm always eager to learn something new. I'm especially curious about other people's stories -- something we all have to share. If you're in the mood for learning, I can teach you how to bake bread, make cheese, write a sonnet, play guitar, light a match with your finger nail. And probably some other things too.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Guatemala, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Slovenia, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom
