About me...

I'm a 28 year old Aussie, originally from Perth but have been living in Melbourne for the last few years. I'm currently working where I can, trying to break into a career.
I like to think I'm pretty easy going and uncomplicated. Prone to bouts of passion and indifference in equal measure. I'm pretty fascinated by life and the people in it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm travelling SE Europe over June/July 2016. I am staying in hostels mostly, but would love to meet some locals as well. I think Couchsurfing would be a great way to do this, as the 'traveller circuit' is quite insular.

Interests

My interests include reading, going for long walks, wine, gin, and craft beer, cooking. and playing football (soccer) and tennis. I did my degree in History and Politics so I'm always up for a bit of friendly 'debate'.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like Arthouse and Indie cinema. My music taste is similar, I enjoy punk, ska, reggae, metal, and indie. Though I believe any musical style is great if you hear the right songs at the right time.
I enjoy reading both fiction and non-fiction. Some of my favourite authors are Dostoyevsky, Ursula K. Le Guin, Evelyn Waugh, and George Orwell.
