ABOUT ME

FIFO worker, always up for a beer in my time off,

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Please read profile before sending a request! I may have some questions here i need answered in your request!

My name is simon! Not all, friend, everyone, come on, you want to stay at my house, i would suggest you atleast know my name, and i will need your proper name also, not just a web screen name!

Travelling, great fun and I also love getting out and experiencing what Oz has to offer! Its a big country out there, with so much to offer!

I live to the west of Adelaide city, with pretty good public transport in the area! Four buses to the north and and three to the south, makes how many buses in my area i wonder!!

A couple of my favorite places to visit in adelaide is hanhdorf (german area) and also our some 15km of white sandy beaches! A midday to early afternoon arrival is always good, as around four hours after one oclock in the afternoon is a good time for beers, so that time would be when i wonder!

The zombie apocalypse does happen in adelaide a few times a year, so id say iron man would win against those snoozers, but who would you want on your team is another thing which i wonder. Lucky its only a couple of days!

A couple quick notes for couchsurfers, so they can undestand how i host, i dont accept guests for 1 night, as how are you meant to experience Adelaide in the couchsurfing way, with a 12 hour stop over! There is many hostels in and around adelaide, use them for your 1 night transfers, not me! If you are coming to adelaide as a professional worker, not including travel work visas, you have the money to afford a motel or AIRBNB, use them, as i only host genuine backpackers! Fringe acts needs not apply! Im also a little fussy with arrival times, early afternoon works well for me, you can get comfy in my house after a long day on the road, then we can catch the sunsets of summer! I do at times run a reasonably busy schedule, and get annoyed when people run late, my doors are locked from around 9pm of a night, and wont accept late comers, unless you have really struck trouble for the day, which does happen! Oz is a big place, so be courteous to your CS host, and arrive on time! Were a big country, so what looks a short distance on a map, can easily be a 5-10 hour drive, even all with in South Australia! Especially when cruising in from the nullabor! Perth to Adelaide is a good 30 hour drive!

If you've made it this far, drop me a message, and let me show you why we love our Radelaide!
