My Name is Simon , I am from Austria and my first language is (austrian) german.
I am 21 Years old and did my military service at the Upper Austrian Military Brass Band. After that, I picked my stuff and started a trip to Central-&Southamerica for half a year.
I am a very extroverted person and love to come in touch with new cultures, sights of view and minds. For me travelling is the only way you can find out what´s right for you and understand yourself. What, at least right now it seems to me like that, is necessary to be happy and content with the world and the environment!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Instead of visiting one Hotel after the other and see "rich" tourists trying to get the maximum out of their 7-day-all-inclusive adventure, i appreciate to meet new persons in every country. And everyone has his/her own amazing stories and memories. The idea that connects us all, even if we are that different. This is why i love Couchsurfing!

It is oke to ask for money if you need some. I would have borrowed you, no, even given you money if you had asked polite and honest. Because human beeings normally are supposed to interact like this. But steeling out of the Backpack. Come on man. That destroys the idea of brotherhood and love. The trust i give to Couchsurfing and get back (usually). So may you regret your deed. It´s your turn Carma ;)

Interests

There are so many interesting things i love to do, want to try or are a dream of mine.
My biggest Hobbies are writting, reading, thinking about everything, running, swimming, football (soccer), meet family and friends and last but not least: music!! I play the Tuba and at the moment learn piano. Furthermore i´m a pretty good singer and love the experience of making music togehter in jam sessions.

Really depends on my Mood!
There is no certain Genre i am into, it´s more like i listen to what gives me the vibes. Starts with classic from Mozart, Jazz, Blues, Rock, Metal, all sort of Electro and much more! (I love the voice of Adele!)
I used to be a Nerd. So here you go: Lord of the Rings :D
No just kidding, i am a big fan of "Into the Wild" but think it is important to also read the book if you want to understand the motivation, idea and insanity of Christopfer McCandless. Furthermore i love all kind of Documentations and movies if they are interesting :D
