Hello there! My name is Simon, I'm currently 19 years old, stand at a proud 175 cm and have what some people would call a three day beard, but I just call it the 'too-lazy-to-shave'. I'm generally a really happy person and if I don't look content, I probably still am.

It's simply a great way to connect with new people and get to know their culture and interests and share mine with them.
Also I'm trying to be a bit more outgoing and meeting completely new people is probably a good step in the right direction.

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

Music is one of the most important parts of my life and will hopefully always be important to me.
As a kid I only listened to Pop, then as a teenager I played a lot of Guitar Hero and discovered Metal for myself. That mellowed down a lot and nowadays I only have two requirements for music that I like: It has to be music and I have to like it.
Some of my current favorite bands are Everything Everything, Kubbi, Haim, System of a Down, Tycho, Oh Wonder, Daft Punk, Made in Heights, Joanna Newsom and Diablo Swing Orchestra.

I've always read a lot and because of my current occupation I still get to do that. I'm always trying to catch up on some more classical literature. One of my more recent favorite books is 1984 by George Orwell. Together with Brave New World it's one of the greatest books of the last century. Generally I read a lot of fantasy, some of those are well known, but most of them not.

I watch a lot of animation.
Like, a lot.
I always watched a lot of movies and series, but at sometime in the last year it just switched and when I'm by myself I'm just watching animation.
Some of my favorite movies and series: Firefly, Steven Universe, Patema Inverted, How to train your Dragon 1 & 2, Doctor Who (the newer ones), Rick and Morty, Anchorman

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

One month of interrail was pretty crazy. I went with four friends and am still looking back at that and think, 'man we really did that!' Because one month can be pretty long when you're just travelling.

Currently I'm teaching myself to draw and animate and for the first time in my life I'm pulling through with something. After years of failed personal projects because of laziness, actually doing something is really cool.
