About Me
Hey guys!
My name is Simon, I am 31 years old and live in Newcastle upon Tyne in the North of England. Three years ago I fell in love with travel after a week away in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Since then I have been to Thailand for a few weeks and also visited Myanmar. My plan is to go on a long trip and explore more different country's hoping to make stop off's in Australia, New Zealand and explore Malaysia and more of South East Asia as well and possibly even live out there for a bit.
I am a musician and play guitar, also I practice Buddhism that has led me to visit South East Asia. I have a house that also has two lodgers, one at present. The place you would be staying is on a sofa bed in the front room of te house. There would be a kettle in there and a toaster to use as well as bedding. Stays would be a maximum of two days. Newcastle has a great nightlife and by all means sample a few ales/beer, however, the house is occupied by two tenants who work full time and very much have their own lives. If staying at the property please be fairly quite at night time and respect this. I am happy to be a guide to the local spots of not working, the idea here is to build up a loads of buddies who would be happy to host me when I go for an explore or longer stay in Asia :)
Newcastle is a great city and a great bridging point to stop before exploring Scotland, or as a place to stop when returning from Scotland to go back to the South of England. Newcastle also has it's own Airport that has one to two Emirates flights a day to Dubai, a popular stop off point for further afield visitors.
I love to cook and if there is a portion left that is free and would suit your pallet your more than welcome to have it :)
