I also learned french for 5 years in school but my level did not sustain, thus I am not that good in it :D I am a student who likes to see the world and its people. My major is geography or better said human geography. It is about generating a deep understanding of how societies and human behaviour work and powerful space can be in that equation. I am a person open to everything and everyone, because that is how problems get solved and how the world is made a better place to live. I try to obtain a global culture besides my national culture in which I grew up in (which is the German one). I believe that by seeing new places and people as often as we can, we improve our understanding of the world and we can become wise already at an early age.
I am a somewhat spritual person, because I think important values and worldviews, patterns of behaviour and positive thinking matter. Though, I embrace rational thinking, meaning I do not accept everything without questionning. In consequence, I think all religions and other ways of thinking are worth being respected and I am always searching for universal truths, which often can be found exactly there.
I want do add that I am a determined person, which emerged e.g. from hard training in martial arts.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I joined couchsurfing because I moved to the US for my studies and travelled a lot, which goes hand in hand with the need for a warm place at the campfire.

兴趣

I am particularly interested in doing sports of all different kinds. Currently these are fitness, yoga, running, and quidditch.
I am interested in learning more about everything, that is why I am also into history. I believe that so many mistakes have already been made and we can learn from them, we just have to open our eyes to it.
My German culture includes the joy of drinking quaffable beer, a fine trait. Having a drink with nice people ends mostly in interesting conversations and cultural/religious/scientific/ethic etc. exchange. Meanwhile however, I commited to doing that same thing just without the beer.
Moreover, I am in the permanent state of learning how to cook the most different things.
I also like to travel and see how people are and live in different places, this hobby also arose just a few years ago.

音乐、电影和书籍

I like most kinds of music, they just have to support me with energy. Thus, I listen to rock, heavy metal and even harder stuff, but also electro, classic,.... I also learned that other people can have a good taste of music. I am often surprised which amazing artists there are out in the world that I did not know about. After the one or another "Maß" (if you don't know what that is, find out) at one of our many Bavarian fairs I also enjoy polka :D
My taste of movies differs slightly from my taste of music, because when you are watching a movie, you cannot exercise or whatever, you just sit/lie/... I prefer actionpacked and funny movies and also war movies. From time to time also horror, or ,very rarely, a romance, but only with the right person at my side. My favourite movies are the ones which have an arbitrary and complex story, e.g. Inception or Birdman.
Books offer portals into other universes and thus meet my taste for visiting other worlds. I developed a preference for very long, multibook stories and tales, like Game of Thrones, Harry Potter or the German "Die Feuerreiter seiner Majestät". In addition, I embrace books with enthralling storylines, which is not a very precise argument :D I can only specify that with examples: Erebos, Numbers, IBoy, Hide-/Blackout..., Saeculum, and many more.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I don't like this headline. I have done many things and have not done so few yet. If what I did was amazing depends on who I tell it to. I think one thing that is amazing is having found and kept the friends that I have. Moreover, finding new such friends for life with whom I can share everything with and those I have mutual understanding with, even after months of no contact, is an experience which guarantees amazing outcomes.
