Overview
About Me
I am a homo sapien of the male sex. Due to being born to German parents in Kaiserslautern, my life expectancy is 83 years. Life is a jolly game that has earned me the nickname of the Jolly German at home in the US. The opportunity to freely learn about anything and everything is why I go to medical school now. I am an idealist, who is trying to create the change that will make the world a more lovely place.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For the reason most people are on this platform. TRAVELING and having the opportunity to meet local people, who can give inside tips about the city they live in, which hotels and hostels sometimes can't give. Furthermore it is cheap of course and students' such as myself are usually not the wealthiest of individuals.
Interests
"As children, our imaginations are vibrant, and our hearts are open. We believe that the bad guy always loses and that the tooth fairy sneaks into our rooms at night to put money under our pillow. Everything amazes us, and we think anything is possible. We continuously experience life with a sense of newness and unbridled curiosity." Yehuda Berg
I am still a child.

Music, Movies, and Books
Favorite Book: Born to Run
I am a bookworm, although time has been an issue these last couple of years. I read all kinds of books, but my favorite types are fantasy (Game of Thrones is amazing), political science, business and pretty much anything else that I can get my hands on.
Favorite Movie: Shawshank Redemption maybe? I don't really watch TV and I do not have one.
Favorite Music: I listen to all kinds of music. Latin is my favorite one to dance to.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Asked for a dish with no meat or vegetables in China and they asked me if offal was okay. Not knowing what that meant in English, I said sure and thus tried intestines for the first time.
Teach, Learn, Share
Not really sure what to put here. I do love teaching, learning and sharing from/with others, so yeah...couchsurfing does give you the opportunity to teach/learn/share your experiences/thoughts/ideas with people of all different cultures and that is probably the main reason I enjoy traveling and joined couchsurfing.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My experiences, knowledge, viewpoints and humor (people say these things may be captive inside of me and in the need to get out and be shared).
