About Me

I'm a very passionate individual and I believe I was put here on Earth to help others. Currently I work as a Wilderness Therapy Field Mentor. I love trying new things and having new adventures. I try to live life by this motto, "Be the wind, Not the leaf". Everything else about me revolves around these few points. I have a hard time talking about myself, but in person I am not shy to strike up conversation with a stranger. I love being outside, and I am determined to make a career of being outside and helping others, it's all in the works. Everything happens for a reason.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Im using CS for a couple reasons. I always enjoy meeting new people. My partner, Ari, and I are taking a trip to Maui for 2 weeks in March and would like a place to stay. We really enjoy meeting locals and having fun.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like any good music, I do not discriminate. I will always love the Talking Heads, Pink Floyd, The Grateful Dead, but lately I've been shaking my tail feather to a lot of Widespread Panic. I don't own a TV, but Forest Gump is a good movie. My favorite book is Undaunted Courage by Stephan E. Ambrose.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It's hard to pick only one. I've backpacked for 21 days in the Wind River Mountains in Wyoming. I would love to do it again. More recently I've climbed the Grand Teton via the Exum Ridge route.

Teach, Learn, Share

By nature we are all teachers, and I am open to share. This brain just needs picking. I love learning and I will always respect others opinions.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Smiles, laughs, beer, wisdom, knowledge, food.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, New Zealand
