About Me
Hello! I'm Simon and I'm 22 years old, currently studying at the University of Auckland in New Zealand! I would describe myself as quite adventurous (as long as university schedules lets me), flexible and easy going. I always try to be as optimistic as possible, and to smile through all the difficulties that come across in life. About travelling When I was very young I always had a dislike towards travelling. Every place or country I went was 'different' and somehow in my mind different wasn't good. I used to be a firm believer of the saying 'home sweet home'. My life changed when I was 17. When I was 17, I went on my first student exchange to China for 3 weeks, where I stayed with a host family. I began to immerse myself in the deep cultures and traditions of the local people. I had a go at making dumplings, playing badminton, talking walks by the river side and more. These were things I never thought I would do at home. Since then, I still travel and meet new people for the same reason. I'm enthusiastic about sharing stories, pictures, experiences with people all over the world. Trying to make every moment of life count

Music, Movies, and Books
I love all sorts of music, as long as its good. Favorite artist of all time would have to be Eminem
I love all movies but I generally don't set too much time aside to watch them
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I wouldn't say I've done anything too spectacular or amazing just yet.
My one memorable experience for me was hitchhiking in Russia, from Oryol to Yekaterinburg.
The total distance was around 2,156km, which was completed in just under two days (45 hours ish)
Although it was tiresome, the journey was well worth it.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach, learn and share the story of life and experiences. And also share socks (true story)
On a more serious note, I can teach English and Chinese
