ABOUT ME

I'm a fun-loving guy with a keen interest for the arts, especially music and literature. I love a good laugh and have a pretty good sense of humor. I'm always down to try something new and explore the absurdly beautiful world that surrounds us.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is a rollercoaster ride and you should not be the guy with the brown bag wanting to get off the ride. Be the one in front with his arms flailing in the air, screaming at the top of his lungs. Enjoy life, go out and play, discover.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As of now my participation needs be limited to surfing because of my situation, but I'm planning on hosting surfers once I move out to be on my own.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None! I've slept other bands' houses back when we toured, but that's mainly it.

兴趣

I love reading, writing, playing music, improv. Anything creative, really. I have an acoustic/jazz/hip hop project and do beats on my own also.

音乐、电影和书籍

Movies: anything by Tarantino, the Monty Pythons, the Cohen Brothers. I'm a sucker for comedies and B series movie.

Music: I listen to a lot of different music and want to keep my ears and my mind as open as possible. I listen mostly to hip hop at the moment, my favorite artists being Clams Casino and MF Doom, but I also listen to drone (Sun 0))), Earth, Tim Hecker), electronic music (Burial, Madeon, Venitian Snare).

Books: Don Delillo is my favorite author at the moment. Otherwise, I'm a huge fan of graphic novels (Batman, Watchman, etc.)Some of my favorite books are American Psycho, Of Mice and Men, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I hate tooting my own horn but it'd be to have played with my band in front of 500 people or translating for Ted Moses in front of 300 businessmen. Bear in mind that I'm not saying I've done anything extraordinary, simply that those experiences were surreal and proved me I could surpass my limits.

I'm a guitar and an English teacher. I cook very well also. I could teach you some French basics also.
